When I say that I love what I do, I wish I could put the word LOVE in bright, bold letters across a billboard in order to emphasize it more properly. There is such great beauty all around us & within our daily lives-Ican't help but be continually inspired by it all. My fine art photography allows me to connect with people & their lives in a way words cannot. I am incredibly passionate about my job, my clients, my family, my friends-Life in general. Truly, I feel so blessed and thankfull. 

My philosophy of shooting is guided by a core principle of finding what the "moment" is and capturing it. I seek to use more than just my eye looking through a viewfinder. When shooting I use all my senses to find scenes that make me feel good and appeal to me. When shooting people, I try to capture the small details of what makes them unique. Everyone has them. It's the inner beauty that is sometimes covered up that makes us all special. I use my own style that says who I am as a photographer and it comes from the heart. As long as we shoot from the heart, our life, our passions, our work, will be special.

While there are many ways to shoot a picture,let me explain some of the technical details of how I shoot. I use wide open apertures to isolate the subject on a blurred background. I tend to use longer focal length lenses which draws the subject closer and enables the viewing of details that otherwise may be missed. It allows me to remain at a distance and not draw attention to myself. I will use wide angle lenses as the scene demands such as when "shooting from the hip". Using available light in all my images gives smoother skin tones and overall more pleasing lighting and colors. When possible I use the natural light provided. I look forward to speaking with you and getting to know you even better. After all, isn't that what makes this journy we call 'life' so grand? I always say that only you know what it feels like to be in love....now I get to show you what it looks like.

My ultimate goal is to tell a story and to help people remember their special day for years to come.
